The Mid-Point

Its gorgeous here today - 84 and sunny. I had a haircut that ran late, which meant stuck in traffic and late to Hip-Hop, which turned out to be cancelled anyway - because no one else showed up. *sigh* Some days are just like that. But now we've had time to run an errand, take a few pics in the sunshine and even play in the yard (though the new ball from Gramma Mary popped on a rose thorn, causing a very sad retreat to the upstairs for a few good minutes of sulking.) We seem to be recovered now and he's about to start on an art project and I'm about to start on dinner - veggie burgers, fruit salad - strawberries, mango and raspberries - and then plenty of time to begin "Extraordinary Adventures of Ordinary Boy - The Great Powers Outtage"

Wrap up

The game was fun - sunny and warm with just a little breeze.  We didn't make much happen at the plate tonight, but there were several fun fielding moments, including one play from 'pitcher' Douglas to catcher for an out, and another from Louis at shortstop to D at third for an out.  Then dinner in Yountville with Gramma Mary and Papa Rob (and a little more bball) and finally home for a haircut. !!

A very warm morning

And we are planning a day of exercise - off to Fit Kid for an hour, home for gardening and playing outside, then The Killer Bees take on their latest foe at Garfield Park at 2:30.
